Black Like Me

A stage adaptation of John Howard Griffin’s diary of his journey as a White American in the South of the United States while disguised as a Black man. The “experiment”, as John calls it, is a controversial and provocative one that raises questions on the politics of equality & social justice. We follow John’s journey with a black ensemble who plays various characters from the book; while the production raises the question of how can the black community move forward while dealing with their pains of the past (and the present).
